How I help Perth families with homework

I support families from Kindy to Year 12, with a particular focus on Years 6 to 9, when the move to high school often means more subjects, more homework, more to keep track of and less day-to-day structure.

I work with you, the parent. Everything I create is designed for your family to use at home. Not sure which option fits? Send me a message or book a free 15-minute call, no obligation. I'll tell you what I think would be most useful for your family, including if you don't need my help at all.

  • Free 15-minute call: is my support a good fit, and where should we start?
  • Parent Consultation ($150, 45 minutes): we explore where homework breaks down and agree on one practical strategy.

Report Summary

$180 for up to two assessment reports

For when you have the report but not the meaning.

Send me your child's report and I'll turn it into plain English: what it found, what it means for how your child learns, and what helps at home and school.

Such as a psychoeducational assessment or a speech or OT report. Each additional assessment report from a health or allied health professional is $60.

No assessment reports? $90

A summary built from school documents only, such as school reports, NAPLAN results or a learning plan. Any of these is enough to start.

What's in a summary?

Homework Starter Kit

$450 · ready in three working days

For a full set of homework tools, built around your child.

A homework plan, study organisers and visual aids, a step-by-step assignment guide, and a single summary for you of what the reports say and how homework is going. All built from what you already have.

One round of changes within 14 days if something doesn't fit how your child works.

What's in a kit?

What you've already paid counts towards the next step, if you order within 60 days. A Parent Consultation fee comes off a summary, and everything you've paid for a consultation and summary comes off the Kit. For example: consultation $150, then Report Summary $30, then Kit $270, so $450 in total. The 60 days run from your most recent consultation or summary delivery. Extra consultation time and travel aren't credited, but additional report fees are. Full fee schedule.

Summaries and the Kit are ready three working days after I have payment and all the documents or information needed.

Consultations: extra time is $50 per 15 minutes, by agreement. Travel applies to in-person sessions only: free within 10 km of Melville, $10 for 10–20 km, $20 for 20–30 km, quoted beyond that. No travel fee online.

Consultations are invoiced after the session. The Report Summary and the Kit are paid before work begins. See our Terms and Conditions for more information.

“Step-by-step guides for the situations we found hardest. We can go back to them whenever we need to, and homework has become a much easier task.”

Your child's paperwork

You're about to send me documents about your child. Here's exactly what happens to them.

  • They stay with me. I don't contact your school, and I don't share your child's documents with schools or other professionals without your written instructions, unless the law requires it. They're stored using the cloud services listed in the Privacy Policy, which hold them for me.
  • They're stored securely. Your original documents stay in my Google Workspace, with two-factor authentication on my account. I don't share them with anyone, and I'm the only person with access.
  • Your originals never go into AI tools. If I use AI tools to help with drafting, I only paste short excerpts with your child's name, school, assessor and other identifying details removed. Removing names doesn't always make information anonymous, so I also leave out unusual details that could identify your child.
  • I keep them so you may not have to start again. I keep what you've sent for up to seven years after the last service I provide, unless a shorter period is appropriate or you ask me to delete it sooner. So if you come back at the next report or plan review, you may not need to re-send the same folder.
  • You can send less. Remove your child's name first, and I'll work from a redacted copy. For a consultation or the Kit, you can also skip the documents entirely and fill in a short form about what's happening at homework time instead.
  • No formal report yet? That's fine. Plenty of families come to me pre-diagnosis, mid-assessment, or still on a waitlist. Describing what's going wrong is enough to build from.

You can ask for a copy of what I hold, or ask me to delete it, at any time.
