What you get back

Every kit includes all four parts below. How many organisers and visual aids you get, and which ones, depends on what your child needs.

1.

   A report and homework summary

   For knowing what the report means on Tuesday night.

   One document covering what your child's reports say and how homework is going at home. It's built from any reports and school information you provide. No reports? It's built from what you tell me about homework at your place.

   A homework plan

   For nights that stretch past 9pm.

   Built from what you've told me and any reports you have, not a generic checklist. What order to do things in, how long each part should take, where the stopping points are.

   A step-by-step guide for an assignment

   For the task that hasn't been started.

   The assignment broken into steps, in the order your child would do them. It can be built for a task that's due now, or for the type of task they find hardest. Teachers sometimes call this an assessment scaffold.

   Study organisers and visual aids

   For test week, without the Thursday-night cram.

   Built from the strengths and strategies in the paperwork and what you've told me, turned into something they can pick up the same week. One page each, ready to print at home.

What it asks of you

• Before: send whatever paperwork you have, or skip it and fill in a short form about homework at your place instead.
• When it arrives: print the PDFs and start with the one-page Start here guide that comes with every kit. It tells you which tool to try first, how to introduce it to your child, what help you might need to give at the start, and what to do if it adds frustration. You don't need to introduce everything at once.
• As you go: the guide suggests which tools to try on their own and which to start with you nearby. That's a starting point. You'll both see what works once your child tries them.
• If something isn't working: tell me within 14 days and I'll make one round of changes.

How it works

1. Get in touch. Send a message or book a free 15-minute call, whichever is easier. You don't need a call before ordering. I'll tell you honestly whether a kit is the right thing, or if I think it isn't.
2. Payment and paperwork. I'll send a payment link and a secure upload link for your child's documents. Send whatever you've got, or fill in the short form instead.
3. Three working days later. Your kit arrives as PDFs by email, ready to print, three working days after I have payment and all the information I need. If I need anything else, I'll ask.
4. Not quite right? If something doesn't fit how your child works, tell me within 14 days of delivery. I'll make one round of changes to your kit at no charge, so you're not stuck with a tool that doesn't work at your table. New assignments or later reports are a new order.

How the credit works

What you've already paid counts towards the next step, if you order within 60 days. A Parent Consultation fee comes off a summary, and everything you've paid for a consultation and summary comes off the Kit. For example: consultation $150, then Report Summary $30, then Kit $270, so $450 in total. The 60 days run from your most recent consultation or summary delivery. Extra consultation time and travel aren't credited, but additional report fees are.
